Bolier Scrappage scheme- campaign gains more momentum

As an appendage to my last post there have been some exciting developments in the boiler scrappage scheme campaign!

Sian Berry, Green London Mayor canditate in the last elections, has become the campaign manager. She is getting the petition some much-needed publicity with TV coverage and a new website. She hopes to sign up some high-profile MPs to support the campaign.

On the website you can see the number of signatures creep up, read about why the petition is such a good idea and see some of the supporters of the campaign: http://reheatbritain.org.uk

Two more people have signed since I started this blog post, exciting stuff! To get your signature on the petition please visit http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/boilerscrappage

On a different note, is anyone else a bit confused about what season it is? My friend and I were picking up conkers in the park on saturday, the kids are back at school and its all getting a bit autumnal. I love Autumn, always been a big fan of bonfire night, falling leaves etc. However I'm off to Bestival on the Isle of Wight this weekend so here's hoping the summer weather sticks around for at least another week!

Kate and I are off to Joanna Yarrow's book launch tonight so most likely more about that in my next blog post!
